What I mean by "to advenge the first one" is to go along the same attended route that the origional one back in 1912 and get to New Yourk city safely thus her glory will be advenged in a scence.

I am getting tired of all the BS of not rebuilding the ship!
Why not infact I wanna see it with all the bells and whissels that the original had including its original engines! Just make some minor changes like the Olympic had after the Titanic sank! I dont want the ship to be bigger nor do I want it to sail faster! I want them to just do it right! They have all the plans down to every detail still! So I dont know why they cant build it! Just name it Titanic 2 just out of respect to the original! And I wanna also see a little room on the ship that has a musium on the the real titanic. With artifacts from the original, and pictures and stuff on every passager that sailed on the ship! I dont think no matter how much it would cost to do it, it would make a fortune! It is like going to jurassic park or something being able to see dinosaurs for the first time, but instead it is the titanic, and if they do it right their is no danger! Just dont ram it into ice bergs!And have enough life boats, and maybe enclose some of the bulk heads, and put an extra thinkness to the hull like the olympic had done! :hammer: |

Well, it's not that they can't get the plans right....It's the fact that no one could afford to take this project on. (Except for maybe Bill Gates)

1. To Remember The Victums 2. To Remember A Time When Heart And Sole went into building something. 3. To honor the memory of Tomous Andrews! 4. To document a time when Ocean Liners Like the Titanic dominated the North Atlantic Shipping lanes. 5. For people to experience what it was like to cross the atlantic in style 6. To show what human beings are capiable of making 7. To make a difinative musium of the greatest ship ever. 8. To see a Titanic arrive in New York 9. So people can see what ocean liners are suppose to look like! 10. So u dont have to risk your life in a submarine, And pay lots, 100s of thousands to see the Titanic! 11. well those are all very good reasons but reasons dont lower the cost it would take now days or the risk they may think that it would sink again that would be a good reason not to build it :pint: Quote:

People need to loosen up a bit, I mean If u are a member of this site, u have to be in love with the Titanic, and it is nice to believe that someday we might get to see the Titanic in person, but all of the negativity of never is depressing. I bet someday there will be away to make the ship and not cost as much as everybody is estmating.
And also if they cant build the ship, their will be a way in the future where u can see it and experience it in a virtiual reality, thanks to the advances in computer technology! Byt it would be nicer to have the real deal. The ship is so beautiful and so many people are in love with the ship, so some day they will make a replica of the Titanic and if not in my lifetime, I believe someday! :pint: |
