how come the only Titanic movie used for refence is the 1997 one? there were at least 10 others that are far closer to the true then jack and rose's love affair movie. My sister says the 1987 version (i think) is closer to fact then the 1997 one but it was also based on one character's outlook on things

good going ella..i agree with you 100%..yes the titanic movie was good as far as effects go like i said in another frum it was too focused on the love story.....try watching A NIGHT TO REMEMBER I BELIEVE IT WAS MADE IN THE 1940'S excellant movie for titanic lovers thx

i tried to watch "a night to remember" but it was very boring. i dont know why though.
