If they did switch them it would't be all that difficult for a ship builder of the caliber of harland and wolf.

Actually it would after doin some technical research it would be a difficult job to do the only way is if they did the changes over a long period but someone would have noticed.

well Paul_Lee i really liked that and your right how the mind can fill in the gaps. Unfortunetly I did't have time to read your 'who really found Titanic' but if you could give a brief rundown it would be greatley apreciated. I have heard from various places that Fox and Paramount are somewhat toying with the idea of a conspiracy movie. A can't prove this though if it is true it wont be out for at least a decade but perhaps something may be done for 2012 Titanics 100th anivercery. A think it could be a good movie if done well and would hope something like what u wrote to be in it and if there as more back story on the ships it would make a greate movie.

I agree with Rose 89 that the switch could be possible. Everything's possible, just like the Titanic sinking in the first place but I don't think it would make a great movie.
The movie could change everybody's view of history.

You can't really change peoples perspective of history. That is set in stone but such a plot would intise many people. Certainley me for one as I was drawn into the theroy but after some research then the theroy is rubbish.
