Until then...here are a few:
MV Georgic (2) - Was built in 1931, she was the last ship ever built for the White Star Line, she was scrapped in 1956. MV Britannic (3) - was the older sister of the Georgic, she was built in 1930, she was scrapped in 1960...she was the last ever White Star ship in service for Cunard White Star. Nomadic (2) - built in 1911, she took passengers out to Titanic at Cherbourg, France!..She is now the last White Star Ship afloat!!!!...at this moment she is waiting to be sold at auction in France. All of White Star Line ships has the "IC" on the name of theire ships. All but the first four ships. Theese ships are:
Ellen (1845) Blue Jacket (1854) Royal Standard (1863) Sirius (1865) The first "IC"-ship was put to sea in 1871 and was calles "Oceanic". From that point on they all had the IC in their names. |

"In 1918 Harland and wolff built the White Star Line Ship Vedic. She was fitted out as a troop transport ship until 1920 when she was refitted and put into service on the Liverpool to Canada service. In 1925 she was put into service on the Australian emigrant service. Just like many of the White Star Lines ships she was sold for scrap in 1934. The Vedic was broken up at Rosyth."
