Some people think the three Olympic class ships were doomed...Olympic was badly damaged in the Hawke accident in 1911, in 1934 in heavy fog she rammed into a light ship in New York destroying the ship and killing 7 of her 11 crew.
Titanic sank on her maiden voyage. Britannic sank on her 6th voyage and never went to New York or carried a paying passenger because she was working as a world war one hospital ship. Tom |
