Miss Jessie Leitch, of London, a second class passenger came ashore with the six-months infant of her cousin, the Rev. John Harper, of London, who was drowned. Mr. Harper handed the child to her, kissed the little one goodbye, and remained to perish. Miss Leitch wrapped the child in her own clothing, and stoically endured the cold until help came.

Hope i could help you.
Ever thought about google.com?

Oh, and about when she was born: I found out, that Jessie Leitch was born circa 1877 in Arbroath, Angus, Scotland. She was the daughter of John Young Leitch and Elizabeth Hutcheon Burness.

I used google on her name and got a list of sites. I got this one at the top of the list -

http://www.titanic-passengers.com/harperleitch.htm

just one of several. It also has a picture of the Harpers on it. Hope this helps.

I think John and Nina Harper were either her cousins or her cousin and his wife.
