Well, today's the last day for Titanic and 1,523 unfortunate souls.
Today, (or I should say 'tonight') at 11:40 pm (Atlantic Time) Titanic met the fatal iceberg ("blackberg" since it just recently turned over and was nearly invisible). I intend to watch the documentaries on Discovery and History Channels (an all-day marathon), just to name a few things I'll do to honor the memories of those lost. What will you be doing to remember those lost?

I will probably just have the sinking back in my mind all day. I don't have cable so I can't watch the Discovery Channel documentaries (although if I did, I would never leave the couch).

Titanic did stick out in my memory this morning. I just got into coin collectiong, so I went to the coin convention here in town and I found and bought a British penny from 1912. I don't know about any of you, but just objects from that time period (especially with the date 1912 on them) call out to me and almost take me back in time. I'll probably look at this coin today and it will help me think back to that night.

I'll be watching marathons if there are any. Does anyone know of any??

I used to stay up all night until she sank and read the facts as the time passed....

She just hit 10 minutes ago (my time - central)! Captain Smith should be just getting onto the bridge. Titanic has 2 hours 20 minutes left to live.
By the way, I got my shirt. I was getting a chill.
