I was watching the movie with a glass of port at that time. Very sad.

Different question: I which time zone did the Titanic sink? I want to hear something like "GMT + 3 hours" or something.

Eastern time zone. it was only from what i heard 20 miles from america. So Close. yet the good thing about titanic sinking is we learn from our mistakes. everyone has a radio on now and enough boats for ALL pasengers. now on boats we have SUBMERINES!

I don't think it's pathetic at all, I think you're a very empathetic and caring person. Everytime the clock here says 2:20, I feel very sad myself. Such a tragedy and it could have been prevented.

Not to be mean, but Titanc sank further away than that. Who told you that? Titanic was about 1000 miles from New York City and 300-400 miles from Newfoundland. That would put it in either a time zone named "Q" or a time zone named "P." I cannot tell due to the distortion of the maps. I am told these are the "offcial" names. Zone Q is GMT-4 and P is GMT-3. Zone R is the EST zone. Hope this helps.

For Titanic's 95th, I watched five different movies "sink Titanic." I also adjusted for time zones. I watched "A Night to Remember," "Titanic," (1996) "Titanic," (1953), "S.O.S. Titanic" and "Titanic" (1997) sink Titanic in the course of about 15-20 minutes. It was kind of interesting.
