Dear nenad lulic

I've taken a closer look on this fine art on this site, I tried to search after it on Encyclopedia Titanica, but couldn't find it, but I don't think I've looked close enough.
But to the art.

I'm very amazed to see such fine Titanic art. I know Ken Marschall do a lot of Titanic art, but this one is just as fine, if not even more. I like the use of colours - many time I've seen art where the sky are in warm colours, but the sky on this art is all blue, it give some sort of balance in the picture and you get the feeling of how calm, cold and beautiful it must have been heading towards the icy fields. It's like silence before storm and I love to see how that mood is been catched in the painting.

Very, very beautiful.

For better understanding of this artwork I will say few words.
As you know Titanic was great inspiration for some artists me too.
Mr. Kem Marsghall is excellent painter his Titanic artwork is well known from many reasons. I prefer realism but no photorealistic
art ,like postcards or posters I allways trieved to keep strong
artistic line with strong immpresionistic exposition.
"The last twilight" is quite different and unique artwork. Why?
Artwork is based on real statement of two Titanic pasangers, the one was Mr. Nikola LULIC, great-grand-father of mine. Thet is the
key of ispiration.
If you want to hear whole story about this please contat me via
private message.
In fact lisining song My heart will go on/ Celin Dion / and in the same tame watching artwork you will start cry. MANY PEOPLE DID.
You realy have artistic eye and because of your last sentence
in the your post I decided to send you DVD record with
artwork presentation.
Please send me private post with instruction.
After all maybe you want to think about this artwork as a buyer.

Thank you again very much.

Dear marco lulic

Thank you for sending me the links, I've taken a look on them and looked a bit around on your homepage. You are a very good artist no doubt of that.

And why is "The last twilight" a quite different and unique artwork? Well, it's hard to say, it's just this feeling I get when I look at it, and as you probabely don't know, I'm a artist my self - so when I look at art it gives me a feeling - good or bad, some time it inspires me. I've drawn many drawings of Titanic, looked at hundreds of pictures and artworks of that ship, but I can never tell why I like this art or that art. It's kind of intuition.

I'm glad to hear you want to share your story with the 2 Titanic passengers with me. I would like to hear it, if you want to you can write me a email. I'll give you the address in a private message.

Thank you for considering sending me a DVD record with artwork presentation. I talk to you about this in a private mail as well as about I'm interesting in buying the artwork.

Mrs. Andrews.

Hi again.

There were a problem with sending you a private message, I'm sorry.

I don't like give up my e-mail on a forum where it's visible for all, but I'll give you some words here and now about the DVD and artwork.

First, I'm very pleased to hear that you offer me a DVD record, but must say no thanks just right now when the private message don't work for me write now. I don't got Internet at home so I'ts different computeres I use from time to time, so I never really know what they can do or not do on the Internet.

Please notice that I'm not looking on your fine artwork as a buyer - please don't get me wrong, it's not because I don't like it or don't want to own it, it's just I never put pictures, drawings, artworks and so on of Titanic it makes me think of the tragedy which happened that night.

I hope I haven't offended you or anything. It was never my attention.

Dear Marco Lulic,
I just love your picture. Like Mrs. Andrews said, the colours of the sky are great. If I were older and if I had enough money I'd instantly buy it ... LoL
Yours, Kathi
