From what I can gather, its all just talk. Popular Mechanics came out with an article years ago about a proposed design of a Titanic II cruise ship, but we are still waiting.
I think that no one wants to invest billions of dollars into re-creating a doomed ship. Also, no matter how many Titanic buffs there are, I can't see enough people paying the extra money to go on a ship that does not offer 1/100th of the features that a new ship like the Queen Mary 2 would. |
