when do you guys think the the next major motion picture of titanic will come out?

i don't know! i hope sometime soon though! and it shouldn't be too fictionist either! maybe a little but not as much as James Cameron's Titanic!

Well, some people said "Ghosts of the Abyss" took over where Titanic ended, so, they did make a major motion picture.

I don't think re-telling the same story with different people will fly in regards to money intake, unless you make it 50 years from now.

Probably not for awhile. But they really should do one with real historical facts. That would be great to watch what actually may have happened that night.

1. They wouldn't sell to many tickets for a movie with real historical facts because that's not too interesting for those who aren't into the real Titanic.
2. It would be quite expensive, just as the James Cameron movie, and the won't get that money back because of 1.
3. People want to see NEW movies with new topics. Titanic is now finished for the movie makers

well that just sucks. i think they should still make another Titanic movie for those of us who still find it interesting! there's no end to the story of the Titanic! and if they do make another it should be alittle fictionist, but still have most of the facts straight! kinda like the 1997 Titanic did. it was fiction, but still got some pf the facts. and it wasn't even a Titanic documentary. it was just a fake romance that happened to take place on the Titanic...

in away i think they should of started titanic 97' off in 1912 instead of showing the weack and bacically ruined the ending for the people who didnt know anything about the titanic.

Look at all the movies that have been made on the subject since 1912.

Also, people thought that "A Night to Remember" would be the definative Titanic movie and the final film on the subject.

But that is what is amazing about Titanic. Each generation tends to re-discover its story and therefore, the story itself never gets old, by transends time (as people have said before)

Since Titanic's story will never loose interest, who is to say how many more movies they will make on the subject lets say a 100 years from now!

too bad none of us will be alive to see what movies come out about Titanic 100 years from now!
