Hi just thought I would introduce myself. My name is Shelley. I've been interested in Titanic for more years than I care to count. I'm 37 yrs. old, and have done a great deal of research about the ship. I watch as many documentary's as possible. I didn't watch the movie that came out for a long while. I feared it would take away from the actual event that occured. However, after I watched it...despite the fact most of it was fictional...it brought a certain kind of humanity to the whole event. It gave a sense of feeling to the people aboard the ship and what they may have gone through. We can research the ship at the bottom of the atlantic...but we can't research the hearts lost that night.<br />The research is endless...you can learn forever and discover new things about it even this many years later. That's what I love most...as old as the ship is...there is always something new about it.

Hi Shelley! I've also been fascinated by Titanic for a long time (since elementary school) and her story never seems to grow old. Welcome!
