I Think Titanic as a graveyard site must not be disturbed ..

Well if you think about it, after being under the water for almost 100 years the Titanic is extremley fragile. The Titanic is supposed to collapse by 2021 due to extreme pressure. If we due raise it it would be very expensive and they would probaly need to make new equipment to carry the weight of the ship. Also,once they raise it what would they do with it? It has no use to turn it into a museum. I think they should raise it ,but once they use millions of dollars towards it how can they use it to make some more cash from it.

I am glad to see some people belive that this site is a grave yard.visit,leave notice of sorry,but do not take anymore from these souls and families here on earth and heavens.What is the true reason you look into the Titanic? You have to look and answer those question within yourself.I lihe history.I feel I need to know all the whos,whys,whens and wheres.Will i ever know,not likely.Hope to know more. Buffy

apart from the fact that even if they could have raised the Titanic, when it'd go out of water it would turn into dust within minutes!

I have read that they tried to raise one part of the ship but it fell down again....

it's obvious that it must be left as it is in the abyss...

thanks for the info there...I figured it was just a urban legend that everybody swears too but never happens, there is no way a large vessle like that could be raised and if they did the cost would be out of this world, and for what point? soon as they got it back to land the air would make it rust away even faster, and best to leave it there as a grave, same thing when they found the Bismarck they wanted to raise it too, and its even deeper than Titanic, and then they wanted to talk about raising the Yorktown...granted it would be cool to raise them all but its not been done, and will never be done due to too many factors, best to preserve what artifacts you can and leave the rest alone

Nope no ship is being built, the africa thing is because, a few years back a wealthy gentleman wanted to build it there but no such thing happened. As of today there is no serious bid to build a new titanic.

why does everybody "swear" titanic 2 is being built? nobody has seen pictures, and its always neing built in africa, or newfoundland or some other place, but no search of the internet produces any pics...just a urban legend is all, now if somebody will give me a link with actual photos of it being built , then i will publicly apologize for my remarks, but every titanic site, they all claim a new ship is being built but i have yet to see the proof, or when its to be done.
