For those of you in the United States that want this miniseries on DVD, do not blow $30 buying it on Amazon.
I bought my copy from the 5 dollar movie bin at Wall-Mart. It is a different DVD format than the one on Amazon (the cover is different too), but I was glad to find it because I did not think that sorry version was worth $ 30. Since I have bought it I have seen it at many places that sell cheap DVDs (such as Wallgreens). |

I don't really remember this. I just recently found the video recording that I done of the movie. I think I'll re-watch it. LOL! I've been a really big fan of the Titanic since I was like three years old. I would really like to see the wreak of the Titanic someday. I just hope that I get to see it before it caves in on itself. That is going to be really depressing.

This is a realy good film!*****
It has lots of details although as it was made on a small buget the effects are somewhat drab in places, This film is one of the better although my 2nd favorate as I love the 1953 version more than any. As for The Statment First Officer William Murdoch did not commit suicide or shoot another passenger. (This is a longtime Titanic myth that also appeared in the Cameron film.) I Don't see how anyone can make such a statement on such a subject that has now been beleved Myth/Fact for so long, with little way of proving it one way or the other I feel this will be one of the Titanic legands that will always remain undecided.
