...and finally, the worst shipwreck in history, the Wilhelm Gustloff. Over 8,500 were lost when Gustloff was torpedoed 3 times by a Russian sub. Only 964 was saved.

... ok, I can't mention Queen Mary 2 without posting a picture of her. So, here's QM2.

...and this is Freedom Of The Seas - currently, the Largest passenger ship in service! Her tonnage is greater than QM2 (though I can't recall how heavy Freedom is right now)!

This is the Yarmouth (later known as the Yarmouth Castle) this ship suffered a strange fire and sank just off the Great Stirrup in the Bahamas. Around 90 souls were lost. May they rest in peace.

Here's the U.S.S. Utah as she lays in Pearl Harbor. Very few people visit this ship, due to the wreck is located just off the active military base's shore. You'd need permission from the U.S. Military to enter the base to visit the Utah or get a survivor to sponsor you, so you can go onto the base. It take a little extra effort to visit the Utah (anyone can visit the Arizona), but it's worth it - espectially when you consider the sacrifice our military men made in '41! Let's not forget them!

Here's some more ship pics! This is Edmund Fitzgerald as the waves sweep over her decks.

...and finally (for now), here's the Battleship Arizona, as she lies in Pearl Harbor. May we not forget the sacrifies made by her brave crew.

To those, who were lost that day, let never forget them.
To those, who were there and survived, we can't thank you enough.

This is the fictional ship, Antonia Graza, from the movie Ghost Ship. You can also see the salvage ship, Artic Warrior, along side. I have this movie and watch it mostly in October (around Halloween). It's a pretty good flick, if you're really into horror films. I really like the ship. She looks like the Andrea Doria.
