You forget that Titanic also sailed from Belfast to Southampton 2 2 April - 10 April 1912 - which also contained her trial (2 April 1912) That means she have been a bit longer in the water than those 4 days.

Well Danny, I'm 26 years old. I would not consider myself a true Titanic historian, because I have not written a book on it or learned all there is to learn. I have been studying it since I was about 7 years old though. Most of the major stuff that I have learned about Titanic I learned from books, movies, and documentaries, (they did not have the internet when I was real young). Although, the internet does provide you with some good information today if you can find out if the source is good.

I don't think I could make a living being a full time Titanic historian. But I do love history and have a college teaching degree to teach social studies. So when I do start teaching middle or high school some day, I can talk about the Titanic a little bit to my class!

So, until then, I like to come to this forum and try to learn about Titanic from other people and maybe have a chance to help out someone else who has a question.

Sorry, I don't know anything about the people who created this site.

I guess that means the voyage lasted 4 days, 14 hours and 20 minutes. That is including the time she was stopped at Southampton due to the near New York collision, and her stops at Cherbourg and Queenstown.

If you need the hours it was afloat when it first did its sea trials or left Belfast for Southampton (before her actual passenger voyage), I'll have to go home to get some facts.
