This magnificent realistic scale model is Manufactured by Bassett-Lowke of Northampton, the replica is an outstanding handcrafted 1/16th model of RMS Titanic, accurately detailed and finished to a high professional standard and in Mint original condition, the model is 4' 6" (137 cm) and is mounted on four metal stands, in its original perspex wooden case with legend, Case 5' 10" (178cm).
Bassett-Lowke was a toy company in Northampton, England, founded by Wenman Joseph Bassett-Lowke in 1898 or 1899, that specialized in model railways, boats and ships, and construction sets. Bassett-Lowke started as a mail-order business, although it designed and manufactured some items.
