The last survivor of the ocean liner Titanic, which sank on in April 1912 making hundred of victims, died on Sunday 31st May 2009 at a nursing home near Southampton, England at the age of 97.

Millvina Dean, who suffering of pneumonia, was just two months old, when the Titanic hit an iceberg before sinking in less than three hours in the freezing water of the Atlantic ocean.
She spent her last days in a retirement home in southern England, just near the port the port where she and her family boarded the ship.
