Though he is kind of dorky, there's a part of me that wishes I could find someone like him. The sad part is I'm 20. Is there anyone else, who isnt a kid/teen for goodness sake, that feels this way? What do yall like about him?

well, im fifteen, but i am afraid i'll never meet anybody like jack. i mean, he's like perfect for me. im afraid that i wont get to experience what rose and jack had, never ever. its scary. sometimes i even think theres no such thing as what they had.

I actually like Cal more in the movie (that wonderful voice/accent and his looks), but Jack has qualities that I'd like in a life partner.I know what you mean about finding someone. What Jack and Rose had surely does exist, it's known as an infatuation, something that doesnt usually last more than 18 months (speaking from a psychological stand point, which I'm sure no one wants to hear).Those arent too hard to find, but true love is what will last; and when you get that comfortable and secure feeling, even after all the super affectionet and romantic feelings (infatuation) have warn off, that is when you know you have it. That's what's hard to find.

Ya know, this is very true. I always tell my friends that true love is what's left after the lust and impression phases have ended. The beginnings of a relationship are always trying to impress each other, always doing what's right so the other person doesn't see what you're really like and run for the hills. If you can get past that, and get into the comfortable stage and still find the person attractive inside and outdside, then you know you're really in love.

I very firmly believe you always find the right person. Everyone has a Jack Dawson. I just recetly married mine.
I also believe you find them when you least expect it. You can't go looking for him, or it won't happen.
