After the Titanic sank they rename the Gigantic , Brittanic.

Yeah all the names come fom greek mytholigy. The Olympians the Titans and the Giants it is safe to assume that was the original name but it can't be proven. Am sure it had it's name changed before Titanic wen't down but to my knowledge the name was changed due to the fact it was no longer the biggest ship in the world at her launch.

Yeah White star always denied it was going to be called that but there is a poster of it. Says Gigantic clear as day the date of its issue was april 7th 1914 in my source is right. If its not please fell free to correct me. A will post it on the web if I can find it again but that may be takin off again because it is in a way stealing from other sites so a cant.

Yes I agree, but what if we named Britannic TITANIC like her sister ship? But won't people think that she will sufer the same fate? I am saying this because people might be afared that she would sink too. This sounds really dumb i know because i am answering my same question Sorry if i made you waste you're time

why would they want to re-name Britannic Titannic?
