Salaam, Echo.
I've been researching the Titanic for 35 years and have never heard any mention of such a story. It has all the earmarks of a convenient tale that was fabricated merely to illustrate a point. Achmet |

The story is true..it was my great grandmother..Rita "The Lightbulb" Cornell..She blamed herself for the Titanic sinking for 50 years...she committed suicide in 1967..she bought the Brooklyn Bridge by mistake.

She bought the brooklyn bridge?
And i have never heard this story either, but still, often a human emotion to blame oneself when in fact, they had no control over the said event's. tragic, |

That is some light switch then! Talk about needing the ship re-wired O_o
I doubt the light switch did it... I do kind of know where your going witht his though. I know if you turn on the "inside" car light (the cabin) in the dark you can hardly see outside your window when your driving and have to turn it back off and you can see again. But I highly doubt they sailed with the lights on? Or did they or... uhh well anyway the Crow's Nest people were suppose to alert people if they seem a lurking iceberg or any other threat. I think it was just that it was dark outside, they had no binnocilurs (sp?), and the waves were extreamly calm that night so they couldn't see the water crashing up against it. -Cricket Korta'Ari- |
