Edward John Smith; 882 1/2 ft.; 90 ft. width (I think); not sure of shipping line or owners name; the fastest it could go was 23 knots, and 2,221.

White Star Line, I'm not sure if Bruce Ismay was the owner or just the company representative.

Hi,
In 1902 a man called JP Morgan become the owner of the White Star Line. J Bruce Ismay was made the Managing Director of the line and president of the IMM group (IMM was a group of shiping lines that was owned by JP Morgan). The White Star line was owned by the Ismay family UNTIL 1902 (10 years before Titanic sank). Tom |
