Now I do not know if it is just me, but did Jack seem younger than Rose or was it because Cal seemed older? Maybe Leo DiCaprio just seems young to me? betty |

Hi Betty,
Wow! I've never had someone specifically respond to one of my posts. This is so exciting for me. I would agree with you that Jack looks slightly younger than Rose, but I think that Kate just has a more mature, grown-up looking face than Leo. Kate's more "grown-up" looks really made her embody Rose so much more because of how quickly that character had to become an adult in the lifestyle and times she lived in. To me, Leo's facial features are still so puerile and young looking. I think that is what allows him to play the roles of teenagers still, even though he is almost 30 years old now. Mountie |

yeah, good observation!
I read somewhere that he was supposed to be 20 in Titanic, but maybe we aren't really supposed to know his exact age. I mean, they never really state it in the movie. :D |

Jack was meant to be 20, Rose was 17. LEO was 23 and Kate I believe was 20 or 21 at the time of filming
