Right well why would you admire smith then, if he was insistent on going to fast in dangerous waters, did not put out extra lookouts on that dark night, and did not heed the warnings of other vessels.

what duz that mean? I dislike Ismay the most. from the movie he was just...i didn't like him. Andrews seemed nice in the movie.

Yeah but Edward we are talking about Titanic the real one 1912. The movie is just a way that the producers and director saw the characters like. I mean who did you admire the most, based on facts like info you get, online, books or documents.

Captain Smith is mine also.Along with the Unsinkable Molly Brown.Ismay swore that the only reason that he stepped into that life boat is because he didn't see any other women or children around.But that could just mean that he pushed them behind him so he couldn't see them or just pretended that he couldn't see them.
