Well, I have to say, it wasen't until the violinists started to play "Nearer my God to Thee". I was only five at the time. But the one that got me bawling was when Rose saw the lifeboat, and she went to wake up jack, but he was dead. Also, when that real dramatic music came on, and all the passengers started to run towards the poop deck. And when the priest was hearing confessions on the stern. Basically, it was SO heart wrenching. i agree with Love782, due to the foreign woman coming and asking the captain for help. Later on when she was seen dead with her baby..........

It sickens me when i think about the people who slipped from the top of the ship and hit the funnel on the way down

the entire movie was really beautiful. before i watched it i always wanted to live on a ship or at least travel by ship. now i am totally AFRAID. but i still love the ocean more than anyplace in the world and i can never get enough of it.
my favorite part was: when jackie and rosie are standing on the deck "flying" after rosie admits she loves him and celine dion's song is in the background...
i know it's not a sad part but i cry every time i watch it, mostly because i know jackie's gonna die in the end........

oh that's heartwrenching ,anyone got a kleenex? .lol. sorry. i just don't understand what the big deal is. i'd rather watch a movie about Ballard going down to the wreck
