They were both identical and pretty close to each other that everyone didn't know which one was which.

but they could have just identified them in very easy terms

titanic=right
olympic=left
or vice versa whatever way they were put

Well, tell me, how would you be able to tell, apart from the colour, if at that point they where Identicle?

Or maybe you could tell from the fo'c'sle deck. but that is no use if the picture is of the stern.

The enclosure of the Titanic promanade deck was not done untill atleast 2nd march 1912, so untill then, they would be difficult to seperate, at least from a distance anyway.

Hi Bell!

I agree -- the issue of distance is an important point.

Best wishes,

Mark.

Don't think so. There was no need to take a lot of pictures, they thought Titanic would be back in belfast, but ofcource it never wen't back, afterall they did not know it was going to sink.

as bell said. most people thought that she would be back. they thought that there was no reason to take pics if they could see her in person

You might also consider that in 1912 owning a camera and even affording to shoot/develop film was a luxury afforded to those w/ better than average financial means.
