1,500 people perished that night that need not have. So let us honor them, the fallen, by not salvaging the ship. Let nature take its course and claim the ship for itself. Bringing up items will not best remember them but rather only serve us wishing to glance at dishes and other assorted trinkets to be brought up. Let it remain a memorial, like the USS Arizona, remembered always but not disturbed.

In my opinion is that they not should raise the titanic because Titanic is a story that nobody can forget. Also titanic is a history that people is going to remember about 100 years more.

i don't agree because 1) it's already in a VERY fragile condition...think about the damage it would suffer on the way up...2)it IS a memorial for many people...3)the cost of the whole endeavor is sky high...4) a replica of the original would serve as a modern day memorial just as well...

Agreeable. What is the point in raising her? Leave her be.
I see the whole site of the wreck as a graveyard, and sacred place.
Both the ship and the artifacts should be left alone. I don't agree
with going to someone's grave site and taking others' personal
and cherished possessions, whether it be for others' benefit,or
for personal gain.
