That site is to be seen as the official account at that time in history. I mean they couldn't go down there to check it because they had no subs so they used eye accounts to rebuild the mishap.

So its as good as it is, for that time in history. And secondly it is an official account of the accident: so there is always something interesting. and as far as the accounts are concerned they are very emotional.

Its worth reading but you really need to ask your self which part you want to read. It probably is not so easy to navigate so you might end up reading a small part to satisfy your information searching journey.

Correction

I think you mean he went down with another 1522 brave people! I get really anoyed with people using only the wealthy popular gentlemen of first class as a sort of statue of bravery

I'm not trying to get at you their Kyle but the point is people have been doing exactly that from the very day the Titanic went down, the stories of bravery from characters like Captain Smith. I mean its hardly likely that Captain Smith swam to a life boat put a small child into a boat waved goodbye and sank beneath the water is it?! But this is a story that was reported to have happened as soon as the Carpathia docked.

I guess I think he went down on the Ship Bravely as did all that lost their lives that night. I am not a fan of the belief that he went into the wheel house either as I think he would of been their untill the last few minutes, although I guess this is a realistic story.
