Of cource, was it in the mid 80s they changed something that was giving the ship problems, I think it was the engines, though I may be mistaking. I saw a picture of the QE2 next to the QM2, there is some size difference is't there.

It was in Oct 1986 that her engines were changed from steam to diesel. But she had her much needed refit in Dec 1994.

How can you say that. if there was no QE2 there would be no QM2

QM2 is bigger so i'd hav 2 agree. other than that i don't no much about either of them

QE2 is a very famous ship, bout the same as the QM2, fact if you have heard of the QE2, chances are you have heard of the QM2. I think it was the S.S normandie that fell on it's side in new york harbour.
