yes i am looking at the titanic 2 picture right now and it is much bigger than the original titanic as the original titanic was 268 m and the titanic 2 is 290 m long.
it will cost 500 million dolars to build and aparently it has started already in 2002.
and i should say god him slef could not sink this ship and it is true.
and if the ship comes to danger like sinking it has plenty of life boats for everyone on board and more.
i will tell you what it has on the titanic 2....
starting at the bow of the ship.....
it has on top of the bridge satellite navigation radarcommunitcation followed by GPS followd by navigation radar.
were the crows nest ust to be there is instead aviation radar.
and dead on the end of the bow at the bottom of the ship it has a bulbous
to smash straight into an ice berg if aprotches one and next to it on both sides are bow thrusters to help move the ship side wards to turn quicker.
it has 28 solid life boats and it has self inflating life rafts all around the ship tucked away hidden there is about 20 of them.
and the water type bulkheads go up to main deck so it will be harder to sink.
and it has a trash compactor on board.
it has what subs have horizontal stabilizers for some reason that i dont no .
it also has waste water treatment to save water.
and it also has air conditioning plant for pasengers cabins and places like the grand stair case.
it has diesel generators.
and electric motors and reduction gearbox.
and for the propelers it only has 2 not 3 but these ones are hight efficiency screws which are much better than the original titanics.
and it also has a enlarged rudder.
on the funnels it has air induction vents for engines. and the 4 funnel works as well and it is not fake like the original titanics was only there to make the ship look big.
and it also has doppler weather radar to make sure there are no storms heading there way.
and it has nonflammable wall coverings and furniture to make sure if theres a fire it wont spread around the ship.
and there we go and it is much better and bigger so i think i have answeard you questions and yes there is titanic 2 and it started to get built in 2002 aparently so there we go.

well then i think you are gutted now realy because i kind of found info on the titanic 2 and they said it will be built by 2005 so well then i bet your well gutted just click on the link above to see the picture and infor mation about it only one problem it is in french

I would love to sail on a Titanic 2 and I wish somebody would build her.
Officially a Titanic 2 is not being built, I do not think that a Titanic is being built.
.They would want publicity (for money).
.Modern safety, would change the design considerably.
.To build the ship would cost millions.
.They would need somewhere (big) to build her.
.If she was being built, it would be all over the media.

But I could be wrong....... :D

becuase i am looking at the titanic 2 wright now and yea it has moddern parts to it but it hasnt done anything to the design of the ship.... but there is more life boats on it.........
and did you read my information up the screen well thats what is on it and you cant tell it looks old this ship looks just like titanic.......
and there planing to bring it out in 2005/2006 or it could meen constuction begins in 2005..... but they are doing it.......... because i have read the plans they have been getting ready from 2002 and they said it was starting to be built in 2002 so................
