He couldn't have been a criminal! He was one of the top captians and he was retiring that year. The Titanic was going to be his last voage.

yeah. we've already established that point. no news there. Ismay was the only one up for blame.

I dont think Ismay was to blaim I just think he wanted Titanic to do well on he maiden Voyage I do think he had a number of conversatinos about the running of the ship with ej & also tried to add presure but hes not to blain anyway he paid for it in the end he had to move to Ierland & keep his head down he was white washed & made a skape goad the poor man

I'm not sure you are stating the facts of consequences correctly! You want to blame Ismay for the sinking by wanting to show case the Titanic on her maiden vovage. There are many inportant unlaying reasons for the "hopes of a good showing". Foremost was to generate more corporate interest in a failing company such as the White Star. His desire to "showboat" could easily have been overrode by Captain Smith however it wasn't.
On the otherhand Captain Smith failed in his duties greatly in as much he was the person in charge of the Titanic with no dispute. Smith gave to order for full speed not Ismay. The ice reports were forwarded to Capt Smith not Bruce Ismay. Captain Smith was also responsible for adequating staffing enough sailors and officers during his away time from thr bridge-time. You can name many
more factors that contributed to the sinking.
