Olympic carried onto Southampton, she was going to come and pick up passengers from carpathia and take them onto new York, but the captain of carpathia said no, because he felt it un wise for Olympic to come, because these people have just witnessed the Titanic going down, and now they are going to go on a twin of it, it would be like a ghostly twin ship and could cause problems. She got to Southampton and was given extra life boats; she then was re-called and with drawn from service to under go a massive overall of her design. Work completely stopped on Britannic, so the loss of Titanic was more costly than just the ship her self being lost.
