Harry Potter deserves some credit though. Many annoying nephews have been jumping off roofs staddling broomsticks and stayed out of our hair by retiring to the magical world of Harry Potter.

Many accident-and-emergency wards have been put to good use as well. All the Potter-related injuries that keep children bed ridden and Doctors rich.

Say, there may even be a secret conspiracy going on between J.K. Rowling and the medical provession all along.

hey CJ, are you saying that the Star Trek films are good? cause you have no reason to insult the harry potter films if you are.

Thread involves the Titanic film, so to compare the film 'Titanic' to the 'Harry Potter' fims, is not all that strange, as they are similar mediums.

I doubt there are as many ppl on as many discussion groups discussing Harry Potter as there are compared to Titanic! It almost seems to approach Star Trek loyality!

As always bell, you have hit the nail on the head. I totally agree with you on this one.

That boy that plays Potter, Daniel Radcliff (I think) he doesn’t even like the books, and thinks it is utter nonsense, now I find myself agreeing with him. But his lack of enthusiasm show's up in the acting.

I think once all potter films are made; all together they will beat Titanic, but as a single film, there no where near close.

Yes but Harry Pothead did not come close to making the same box-office returns as did Titanic for example. Besides if you look at any Potter movie it is pretty clear that Harry is a weakling with no true character. Yeah sure, we as the audience are led to believe that Harry has special powers and so forth. He strikes me as the type of character who has a wooden personality and who would have to request written consent in order to fart in the privacy of his own home...

Peter Parker (aka: Spiderman) has less whimp in him than Harry Potter.

Titanic is good, i agree. There isn't much better in terms of Box office as well apart from the fact that the screen play and orginality for the parts that were not fabricated was real good.

The music was like a whole orchesta attended by James Cameron that required to be synthed to the film score on a projector screen above the concert hall while all those 50 people were playing their classic pieces like violin piano and such to match the emotions
