I believe that Jack really did love Rose because he was willing to give his life for her, and that just has to be someone who loves another person very strongly. To be willing to give YOUR OWN LIFE for someone? I mean, thats nothing but love there.

Talking about the caracters of Jack and Rose: It is true when people say that " the devil is in the details".
Consider this: Jack is in the freezing north atlantic. He knows that he is going to freeze to death. The feeling of a thousand knives stabbing into him is claiming his life. And what does Jack think of? The detail...of their love. He thinks of something as simple as a poker game... which lead him to the greatest prize, the greatest love of his life...Rose! He places his physical situation on the backburner and is greatful for meeting her. And he tells her that if she goes on without him, that it will be the greatest honor for him. It would have been all worth it for him to die. And that my friends is true love! |

Well,Kate and Leonardo were actors and they had to make it look so real.So I think that in the movie they loved each other but in real life they are just doing their job.Okay?I hope this helps!
