One reason I thought Olympic had to be scrapped was because the Americans had now put restrictions on the Immigrant’s that could come in to the country. One thing people forget is that Olympic and the other liners where built for this immigrant trade, which called for large ships, and then the necessary accommodations where made for first and second class. Also something to do with the fact that yearly transatlantic travel dropped from 1,000,000 down to 500,000. Olympic was developing sings of her age, but she still had a few years left in her.
