She loved him, and I'll admit it would have been great it she would have lived in his hometown, but first of all, she married another man and he probably wanted to live in Cedar Rapids. And besides, she was suppose to be going on, and people who are trying to move on do not go live in their ex-lover's town! And by ex-lover, I do not mean that they broke up. But you can't really call them lovers if he's dead. And I say that with some kind of sad tone, because the fact that he lost his life haunts me to this day. As far as them having a kid together, there is no proof they did and no proof they didn't. But I don't think that he was Lizzy's grandfather because Rose told her that she had never told her GRANDFATHER about Jack. So obviously, she was by another man. But it is possible that she had another child and more grandchildren.Quote:

 how can she become grandmother if she doesn't have any kids? lol at the movie.. Old Rose is Lizzie's grandma .. how nice it sounds! cyaa  |

It's hard not to think of Rose as a slut, when you really think about it...She cheated on her fiance with another guy. Slept with him in the back of a car. A guy she only knew for 3 days. Then just lets him (Jack) go (ironically as she says "Ill never let go") at the end. It isn't so much the letting go part, but how quickly she does it. Anyway, the whole thing is stupid really. Only felt the need to comment as I need to get my mind of some things.
