check out that site and look for dawson in the list of those who died his first name is either james or joseph ---------------------- she was called the ship of dreams and she was she really was.... |

i have to agree too. the character of jack is fiction. and i don't understand people who go to a grave of someone they don't knoe cause they r thinking that's the person which diCaprio has played.

there was a Jack Dawson on the ship only that his name was not on the passengers list..................meaning he had not paid for his ticket
thats why in Titanic(movie)he is portrayed as a third class.......who won his ticket through a lucky handed poker In Titanic he is more of a fiction chracter |

the only dawson on the titanic was a crew member named James dawson he is listed as a trimmer
