The coal fire was under control by April 12th I believe. The fact that they made good time is what caused Ismay to preasure to keep the pace. In reality, as in all disasters, it was a chain reaction of several events that caused what happened that April night to occur.

yes that is correct, the fire onboard was under control and posed no problems to titanic, i dont believe it caused any damage to the condition of the shp.

I don't think that the titanic sunk intenianally but i do however think that it could have been prevented in many ways and that some of the crew knew there was apossibility that they could run into problems

[b:eefcd4c588]ok no there is no way that the titanic could have been sunk intentionaly. it hit an ice burg and the part that mad it go was that of the part that was under the water so no they had no way of doing it intentionaly.

he's right if you would happen to read the books then you might realize that the ship was struck by a iceberg.

There was a crazy rumour that the Olympic and Titanic were switched as part of a massive insurance scam and that the White Star Line did in fact actually sink her deliberately regardless of the passengers. However, there is NO truth to this rumour because a dive to the wreck certified that it was indeed Titanic due to the identification number "401" stamped on her propellors. The Titanic sank as the result of hitting an iceberg and was NOT sunk deliberately. SONAR was used on the wreck to reveal the iceberg damage that is buried under the sand.
