Yes, it's obvious why many people would vote it among the worst films ever. The love story , the characterizations etc. are really pathetic. but I agree with Teamtunafish. I wanted to see the ship, and the re-creation of the ship was FANTASTIC. I loved the sinking. But, I also SO MUCH regret all those historical characters were passed over.

Well all I can say is they didn't watch the same movie I did - I liked it, despite it took liberties with the social mores of the time - it showed me the ship, which is what I wanted anyway!

james camerons Titanic, was voted the best movie of all time when it was released, but now it has been voted the Worst movie ever! i cant believe how big a jump that is. i heard it on the radio this morning.
i haven't been a great fan of Jc's version because i felt he didnt make full use of the REAL people, who were actually on the ship, instaead he just re-wrote Romeo and Juliet, gave them new names and stuck them on Titanic. anyway thats my rambling over with :) |
