I think it was right for her to move on because thats what Jack would have wanted her to do. If you notice the pictures in the last couple of scenes you can see that she had accomplished all that she and Jack had talked about doing after docking in New York. She was right to move on because she never did let go as she promised Jack before she was rescued. I have seen this film over 75 times and I still cry and get emotional throughout the film. It is the best film I have ever seen about true life.Lastly Rose is a wonderful character in herself!!!

I can out beat that...my friends make fun of me becuase I watch it too much so they told me to keep tally of how many times I have watched it and so far I have seen it 114 plus. :wink:

umm duh. we know she didn't marry cal.
rose married some guy named calvert. last name being calvert. "look, i've done the background on this woman all the way back to the 20s, when she was working as an actress back then. an actress! there's your first clue shirlock! her name was rose dawson back then, then she moved to cedar rapids, marries some guy named calvert and she punches out a couple of kids. now calvert's dead, and from what i hear, cedar rapids is dead!" her fiance on the titanic was name caledon. caledon hauckley. not calvert. sheesh. |
