I know what you are talking about. The scene when you see a baby and the mother dead. So it was that lady that was talking to Capt. Smith, but he ignored her.

***Sorry if this was already posted the login server logged me out when I tired to post this. Anyway....***

I am assusming I would be caught behind the gates though... that is why I worded my post the way I did... the gates are all gatey like =/

If I could get beyond the gates then I would haul it up to the upper decks as much as the people ahead of me would allow. I am pretty slow paced in real life but I can be very fleet footed when it comes to "needing" to run. I too am skinning in real life and able to dodge and go past things without bumping into anything unless someone or something pushes me over totally purposely.

I remember doing this in school because of so many people in the hallways.. they all wanted to talk and I just wanted to ge tto class and just ran like a manica sense my class was WAY on the other side of the school it was HUGE >_< so to actually make it on time I'd have to run and dodge people who wouldn't move out of the way. I got to be very good at this... LOL there was this one teacher who I never talked to until the end of the year and he timed how fast I could go through that one section of the hallway he seen me go down and gave me the scores at the end of the year haha! He said I improved and I eneded up getting him the next year he thought I was weird but neat.

If the gates were locked I would of went back to my stateroom and got a heavy piece of furniture. I would of got some people to help me. Probably 20min. later boom. one of the gates are knocked down. Who cares if I would of damaged white star line propety. I still think I would of went in that frezzing water and lost my poor soul.

Who did more damage me or them. Easy they did the most damage. I only broke the gate and took a bench. They sanked the ship. I guess they did the most damage.

More like, EVERY time I watch Titanic! Especially the part where the 3rd class mother is telling her children a bedtime story, as Titanic is sinking. Assuming I'm not teary eyed before that part, it gets me EVERY time!

I though it was awesome. I bet you did not cry because you are not a softhearted person, but if that was you on that ship on that fateful night. I bet you would of cried in that cold water for your mommy.

Everyone would have cried that fateful night, i agree about that, it would have been such a gut wrenching, heartbreaking night for both those in the water and those int he lifeboats, i dont think though that i have ever cried to a film, my older brother did, i was surprised at that!

My heart hurts when i see what happened to all of those people. I cant imagine what the family were thinking when they got the news. I would have written to the White Star Line and told them that they were responsible for the death of my family member and for lossing all of there things. I would make them pay for the funirule.

Before i start i would tell you. I,m from Sweden so maybe my spelling and grammar is not 100 % perfect. But i think anyone can understand what i mean.

Ok first time in the cinema i cried when:

1 the third class mother is telling her kids a story.

2 when you see the old couple in their bed awaiting death.

3 after the ship sunk, the people in the boats are looking for survivors. There is a scene where you see a dead mom with kids in the water. If i,m not completely correct this is short before Leonardos character dies.

4 the old lady dying in the bed after telling the story-final meet with jack again.

I bought the Movie on DVD and still cries in these scenes. I only saw the movie in cinema 2 times. I was kinda very poor in 1997-98.

Now, the "flying" scene is also a real hearbreaker (before the iceberg incident)

Oh, when we are talking about crying in this movie. When i saw it in cinema first time there was some teenager boys behind where i sat (i,m 33 myself and male). These guys started to making noises when the "jack dies" scene was. They were making fun of the girls that was sniffling.

I then asked if they please could stop being annoying. They kept quiet for a while, but when it was the "old lady dying" scene they just gave up. They too started sniffling (as i did too)

Then of course there was the credits. I usually try to stay as long as possible. I wanna give the makers credit and stay during credits. These other "tuff" gyus also stayed until most people had gone out. Must have been embarassed about crying.

I think showing feelings is natural so its not "bad" crying in such movies.
