I believe, in my opinion, that Jack could have survived if only he and Rose would have taken turns on the wooden headboard that they were on!!!! I get kind of mad everytime I think of him dying in that movie because Rose knew that she could have offered him to switch and take turns with her while he was sitting there freezing his butt off in the water for her!!!!! Its just sad, I mean, Jack could have lived and they could have lived happily ever after , but no, all because she couldn't take the time out to at least offer to take turns with him. But you know, I mean I do think of the fact that maybe it was just to cold for either of them to think straight at that time. Any replies to what I have to say?

You are wrong. If they had taken turns they would both die. Remember the water was below -0º F. It would of been possible that If they were both on the board, they would of both saved themselves.

My aunt and uncle used to drive a bus for Toby Tours, and they'd take visitors out to the Titanic Cemetery in Halifax. As you may have guessed, this is where "J. Dawson" was laid to rest. Well, because of the Titanic Movie, many women assume that this is Jack Dawson (his name is actually Joseph), and they start uncontrolably crying and going crazy.

They don't know that Jack Dawson was a FICTIONAL character. I guess you could say, "They don't know Jack"!

This picture was posted in a different topic (but it was about Jack Dawson), so I'll re-post it here. This is the REAL J Dawson from the Titanic (the picture was taken in 1911, but it's currently the only one I could find on the net)!
