hey all i heard this to. but what i have read about most recently is that in las vegas they will build a ship hotel. i don't know when but. i also heard that the backers for the second ship pulled out. if one is ever built i don't know if i would sail on it but would love just to go on and see it. i am terrified of water. pools are ok but being out on the i open water is not for me. after the movie came out i became obcessed with the titanic everyone thinks i am crazy and that i must have lived a past life on titanic. i don't know i just fell in love with her and the ppl aboard the ship.

I think I posted on another thread on here about this, but I do recall hearing the Russians wanted to build a second Titanic to celebrate the year 2000. I don't know if the Russians will have anything to do with this project, but I'm wondering if they indeed didn't just propose it first, but didn't have the extra reasources to carry it out.

I heard there was going to be a new Titanic and I remember seeing a drawing of it. It did not look like the Titanic at all. It looked more streamlined. And more futuristic.

Regrading that information, it is still at the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean, which it once sailed until it hit the iceberg. :(

i heard about it to but i thought it was last year,
it was to have set sail on the same day the titanic did and whe it got to where it went down they where going to stop and prey.
but after that i never heard about it again i wanted to go on it,

This ties in with several threads on this forum. Titanic II is an idea that has been floating around for ten years that I know of. There are a huge number of reasons it will never be built, but in a nutshell most financiers are convinced that the money they would put in would not give an adequate return on their investment. I was involved with a bank a few years ago and got involved with this proposal (I'd [i:3e6a34ec5b]dearly[/i:3e6a34ec5b] love to see the ship built) and that's the reason in a nutshell.

What we need is an eccentric billionaire who loves [i:3e6a34ec5b]Titanic[/i:3e6a34ec5b]. Maybe he'd build one. Anybody know any?
