No problem here, Betty. I think it's a shame that entire thing is mouldering and collapsing and there is [i:96964ea8a0]nothing[/i:96964ea8a0] being done about it.

I thought they tried to raise it but it's in the muck like 60 feet or something like that and it was too hard to get out.

Titanic 4 ever,
I know you said Titanic's bow is in 60ft of mud. I had read that somewhere and also that the things that are still in the bow, could well be preserved just because of the fact it is in the mud.

What do you think is in there besides the renault?
Betty

Hard to tell Betty. I would not even know what else would be in there.

Thanks for telling me.

The good thing about mud is it does stop some of the oxidation. Aernorbic bacteria, however, the stuff that causes the rusticles, work just fine sans oxygen, so they may well be at work there too. :( I'll ask Charlie and let you guys know.

I looked into it, and apparently there were more than one set of whistles - the one on the sea floor and the one in the exhibit are both authentic. There is a third set, a reproduction, which is the set used for Tom's demo sound.
