Well Jon,
Thanks for that bit of information on the DVD. I guess we do not have to wear those "goofy" 3D glasses but I actually did want to see the 3D stuff. Welcome Betty |

Betty, there [i:4ab6954dc6]is [/i:4ab6954dc6] a 3D book out based on the film, a kid's book - [i:4ab6954dc6]Titanic Ghosts of the Abyss[/i:4ab6954dc6] by Mirelle Major and Ken Marschall. Some of the pictures in the last two THS [i:4ab6954dc6]Commutators[/i:4ab6954dc6] were 3D too if you have a set of 3D glasses around.

What is the last movie that you saw that you used 3D glasses for? |

Actually, therein lies a tale. I was born with one eye slightly wall-eyed, which means it wanders around seperately and I didn't have stereo vision. Then about three years ago, Discovery Channel had a 3D Shark Week, and we had the glasses, so I watched one with the glasses on. The next day, we're at a friend's house, and I'm looking through the front door, and it looks funny. Then big buildings started looking funny too - nothing had changed, they just didn't look the same. Then stuff further away, then stuff closer in.....within a month I had stereo vision, just like everyone else has, only I learned how to see in 3D when I was almost 40!
How many people get a brand new world at 40? Is this not a wonderful world? So it was Shark Week on Discovery Channel I was watching, Betty. |

I just checked out the amazon website TTF and it says there won't be any 3D (unfortunately). I missed this movie in the theaters. It came out when I didn't have extra money for the almost $10 admission price (let alone a 2nd for my husband). I've never wanted a movie as much as this one and I can't wait for the release. I have the book(same title) that was made as an accompanyment to the movie and it's excellent. So many fascinating pictures and computer generated images of what the different areas of the ship probably looked like in 1912. I recommend it to you all.
