Yea, JB, it would be fun...I'm still trying to find out whether "Dragon's Blood" was the same stuff as the Hungarian wine - you could go see.

Mine unquestionably would be the first class smoking lounge. Very posh! At the fireplace in the smoking room with it's painting above, is where Andrews was last seen. I can imagine the creaks and groans and finally the crashes as the ship went down. It would have been over pretty fast for Andrews (Smead and the others known to be there too) as that was where the ship broke. The ceilings caved in as she broke.
But still...the thought of all that elegance crashing to its final end is the quintisential part of the Titanic story for me. The same holds true for the grand staircase too. My favorite scene of 'the movie' is the D deck reception area (in front of first class dining) being half full of water as our two heros ran deeper into the ship to escape the 'bad guy'. Great stuff. |

I was always kinda glad Andrews was in a state of shock at the end - kinda made the last little bit less painful for him. Although I doubt he was still standing at the fireplace when the ship broke - it was at a pretty steep angle at that point.
