yes but they showed the car in the begging of the movie. and it was a pretty good view on top of that.

The reason for the car scene is just to let you know that the titanic was carryring a car on board. It may have been the first ship to do this.Perhaps some one will get back to us to confirm or reject what im saying.

I still don't believe that the car scene was pointless!!!! I think that it gave more meaning to the movie!!!!! :D

Having seen the film a couple of times I consider the scene in the car irrelevant and a waste of time. There would be no way a girl of that era would have been seduced in such a situation. The only point of the scene's inclusion to the distributed edition would be to emphasis the girl's indepedent streak to live the life she wishes to lead and not how her peers, elders and society enforces, but then this was perfectly amplified by other scenes in the movie.
A friend in 1998 said a funny thing; "This is the first Hollywood epic where the male lead is prettier than the female lead!" gg |
