I think the doomed liner is too old and too fragile to be raised. Think about it. Even as we speak she is slowly rusting away and being eaten away by all the creatures and bacteria down there. But then again if they COULD bring her up I think they should build a "Memorial Museum" for it with memorials for all the poor souls who died that fateful night as well as plaques, photographs, infomation, recreations and more about different sections of the ship. Wouldn't that be amazing?

Hi Digiteen
Yes I agree with you I think Titanic, Now is too fragile and would probably just fall to pieces if anyone tried to raise it.

Maybe if someone had tried when it was first located by Ballard it would have been possible, but I think the years have taken a terrible toll on the ship.

A memorial over the site or near it would be great or maybe a museum type replica of Titanic?

ive said that before and ill say it again. even if she does fall apart, it wont lead to anything because she is gonna fall apart in 5 to 10 years. so what difference does it make?

but she doesnt do anything. shes just sitting down there in the dark doing nothing. thats why i said that 5-10 years doesnt make a difference in her falling apart. i still think they should try and take her out.

And like she'd do anything if they raised her??? She'd be in too delicate condition to do anything with her, ie: turn her into a museum. Also due to the fact that it'd be a hazard area and no one could actually go on her due to possiblity of something falling because it's so fragile.

It's too fragile to do anything. I think if they raise her it will just fall apart as it reaches the ocean surface. So, it'd be better off if they didn't even attepmt it that way it can still be around for those 5 to 10 years.

Well, that's assuming that it'd make it out of the water...which would most likely not happen.
