yeah, I've heard her be called SS Tianic quite a few times.

i havent heard that name of hers so often as the other.

Raising the Titanic is impossible. It's amazing how much knowledge you people are missing. The ship is in such bad condition, she would literally collapse. Also, are you forgetting that she weighs several tonnes? I'd like to know how you would get what ever you'd use to pull it up with around the ship aswell, don't forget, she'd embedded in thick ice. No, raising the ship would be impossible, if they could it would be amazing, but why disturb the grave or 1500 people? It is true however that the man whom found the ship (Robert Ballard) is trying to find ways of re-painting her to prevent the iron she is built of rusting to the extent where she collapses. (Even if the technology we had was good enbough to raise a ship weighing as much as the Titanic from a depth of two and a half miles, the ship herself would collapse)

Now, about this Titanic II... NOT GOING TO HAPPEN! No, it will not happen, not for now anyway. There simplym wouldn't be enough interest for the company whom built her to make a profit.
