Once you're famous, all logical sense of staying "normal" just disappears becuase these people are rolling in more money than they ever dreamed of.. and with a hit such as Titanic, Cameron made more than enough money on it, but could still make a few extra $$$ if he contiued to re-release the unseen footage..

Simple point: Once you're famous your middle name becomes greedy. Do you know of one person who's famous that is still normal, living in a 2 bedroom house, normal kitchen, one car, etc???

It won't happen for the simple fact Cameron will always have something extra to release if he doesn't release it all at once and can once again all over again earn millions..

wouldnt it be easier if they released the whole movie? then everyone would be happy.

There were many historical scenes filmed, but cut from the final version. I don't know why they're putting back scenes of Jack and Rose and not the ship itself... IMO that's much more important.

goodness. I don't like how the whole movie is just them. It's a very historical ship, they should have had more of it in the movie!
